LX Professional is an innovative event production company based in Suffolk that specialises in creative set design and providing full technical support for any event of any size, bringing life to your events and creating unforgettable experiences. The company was founded in 1996 by David Hermon after noticing a gap in the market for a company that provided a complete service for stage production and technical support. Motivated by his passion for theatre and drawing on his wealth of experience, LX Professional is able to offer complete solutions for every part of your project including Bespoke Stage and Set Design, Creative Lighting, Immersive Sound, Innovative Special Effects, Unique Props and Original Audio Visual Concepts for both the theatre and commercial spaces.

DAVID HERMON
David started his career working backstage on a variety of productions before becoming a Stage Manager and Designer in 1990. In the years before setting up LX Professional in 1996, David had contributed to countless productions across the country including many at Eye Theatre where he personally lit and stage managed over 100 shows.
During that period he began working in London at the King’s Head Theatre as Production Manager and Technical Consultant. As his reputation grew, David’s vast knowledge and wealth of experience secured his input in over 25 London theatres, 8 of which were located in the prestigious West End. At the same time, David branched out of the theatre world to also offer his support on conferences, classical concerts, outdoor and corporate events across Europe.
Throughout his career, David has acquired an extensive arsenal of staging and technical equipment alongside a vast collection of unique props, set pieces and vintage cars, all of which are available for hire. Several items from the collection have featured both on television and the big screen alongside Hollywood actors and well known musicians.
David is passionate about sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience with schools, allowing the students to experience the world of theatre and get stuck in with every element of production, form building the stage to running the show. Thanks to David, many students have discovered a true passion for Theatre and Live events, and have since gone on to pursue a career within the industry.
More recently, David has used his creativity to transform his clients productions by offering his expertise in design and technical support, using the most up to date technology to create bespoke sets and special effects as a complete package in theatres and the corporate world.
